A new entry? Is this possible? Micah still lives!??

The end.

Ha. I knew it was coming; it was inevitable. Once it happened, I knew I would change my ways. I knew that the punishment would fit the crime, and I knew that I would change the error of my ways once I was caught.

Yeah, I got my first ticket ever - a SPEEDING ticket. It wasn't fair, really, barely even my fault. I just happened to be driving every so slightly too fast....

It was on a long, declining dip with an incline right away. I didn't apply the brakes on my way down, knowing that on the way up gravity would slow me down to an appropriate speed. But, to my misfortune, I was going (allegedly) 51mph in a 35mph zone, with a squad car sitting at the bottom of the dip.

"Do you know the speed along Dodge st.?"

"Um, no... 40mph?"

Yeah. It wasn't so good. I got off lucky though. I didn't have proof of insurance or registration, because I'm buying this car from my sister-in-law, so we're inbetween getting that stuff switched. He let me off from that, saying to get it taken care of. I can also take a (lame) class to get the speeding ticket removed from my record and the fine for the ticket abolished. But, the class did cost $85.00 and will last for two four-hour evenings. Yay.

Sorry that if I've not responded to everyones' comments, I only commit so much time to online-related activites, and most of that time is giving an update on my dull life.

Sleep. I don't like it. Or, rather, I pretend not to like - at least when I've a test, exam, paper, etc due the next morning. Like now, for instance, I am awake at an ungodly hour of the morning, trying to finish a paper due... Two days ago... I should really check my syllabus more often... Anyway.

Work is good, school is good, I am good... etc. I would like to be sleeping right now, despite the fact that I don't like it, but I am ultimately lazy - and lazy likes sleep.

Umm, yeah. So I am just letting everyone know that I am, in fact, still alive. Nothing super awesome or crazy to report. Oh, and my shoulder is mostly fine. Every now n' again I find something that "doesn't feel right," but mostly it's fine. Who knows what I did exactly... :D

The Prestige is a good movie, btw.

So I kinda pulled some muscles in my right shoulder. Which muscles specifically I'm not sure, but I can't really lift anything straight up, out, etc. Makes it really hard to do certain things! Luckily running the till (cash register) at Starbucks doesn't require any of the pulled muscles.

And it's memory weekend... memorial... no, labor day! I always got those confused!

My big plans: *drum roll* working at Starbucks!! (I hope we get some big tips )

So class starts Tuesday. That's cool, I guess. It'll be fun to hang out with my budeeee (Dave) in two of my three classes, and inbetween classes, before, etc.

At Metro Community College (the school I'm attending) they use the "quarterly systerm," which uses 4 quarters in a year instead of 2 semesters. I've never even heard of that before, so hopefully it won't be a big deal. I wanted to take more than 3 classes, but 3 is considered a 'full-time student' and the school recommended I not take more than 3 classes for my first quarter, but if 3 wasn't too difficult I could take more classes in the next quarter.

Well, my arm is starting to hurt... So that means I need to run downstairs and find my dosage of pain medication (Motren, or something like that).

Cheerio, ya'all (yes, I live in the 'Midwest.' They say "ya'all" here and I've caught myself saying it twice. Scaaaaary!)

Training at Starbucks was really, really fun! The people are awesome, as is the work. Who wouldn't want to work at Starbucks?

If you haven't seen the Hoodwinked you're missing out. Not the best quality animation, but it's definitly unique and funny! (I was rolling on the floor laughing a couple times)

Over the Hedge was much better than expected, but not a classsic. I was often the only one laughing in the theater.

The Descent scared the heck out of me! (Dark, cramped caves with little mutant-human-things simply freaks me out. Even before the 'scary' creatures I was freaked out... THEY WERE IN A SMALL, SCARY & DARK CAVE!!! *shutters*)

The Lakehouse was a pretty decent chick-flick, although I almost predicted everything there was to predict.

Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby was pretty dumb with a couple of funny parts. I unfortunately saw it twice... *rolls eyes*

Nacho Libre was waaaay better than expected. It was dumb, but not too dumb. I fell out of my seat laughing at one scene!

I still want to see Monster House, Miami Vice, Pirates 2 (again), Accepted, The Illusionist and.... I'm sure a couple others.

Time to go clean the kitchen. Yay.

Cheerios!
